If you know your current password, simply navigate to 'Settings' > 'Security and privacy':
Scroll down to 'Change password':
To change your password, you will need to enter your current password, and then enter a new password.
If you do not remember your password, you must have your Secret Recovery Phrase to reset it.

Accounts that do not originate from one SRPHowever, if you use backup and sync, you can restore other accounts and wallets by entering your primary SRP, or SRP #1.
To reset your password with your SRP, you will need to lock your MetaMask Extension or Mobile application. For Extension, click on the menu in the top right corner, and then click 'Lock MetaMask.' For Mobile, click on settings in the bottom right corner, and then click 'Lock'.
From there, click 'Forgot password', and enter your SRP. You will be prompted to create a new password; make sure you write this down somewhere safe.
